A Little Bit of Cooking, A Little Bit of Crafts and a Whole Lot of Fun!

pastaThis course takes a creative and fun approach to basic cooking skills, kitchen safety, sanitation, care of equipment, following recipes and food related crafts.

At the beginning of each session, each child will be given their own set of cooking utensils to be taken home at the end of each session. In addition, each child will create their own book of recipes from all the activities and cooking assignments completed throughout the course. Samples of the foods created will be sent home with the students to share with their families.

This course is taught by Certified ServSafe Food Handlers

Look Who’s Cooking

What better way to teach children proper nutrition, create healthy eating habits and learn the importance of a balanced diet than to let them prepare and cook the food themselves? Each day the children will cook a dish that is relative to the session’s theme of the week.
